If you don’t live in a cave, you heard about Game of Thrones. If you heard about it, you probably watched it. If you watched it, you probably loved it. Let’s not talk about the ending. I was lucky enough to visit one of the most known filming locations: beautiful Croatian city Dubrovnik. All you need to know is, that is absolutely breathtaking and yeah..a bit pricy. I was there only for one day, but managed to see some of the most famous locations used in Game of thrones. 
The majority of scenes within the Red Keep have been filmed inside the Lovrijenac Fort. One of my favorite is when Cersei demonstrates the nature of power to Littlefinger along with the famous quote: “Power is power.” (S02E01) Next scene is from the same episode (first showing of Dubrovnik in the series actually): King Joffrey’s Name day Tournament and photo on the right is from S03E05 where Cersei and Littlefinger debate Tyrells and Arya.
From the Fort you can already see the whole “Blackwater bay” and if you follow the sight, you come to Dubrovnik’s west harbor. If you find hidden doors in the rocks you will remember the scene where the Gold cloaks are ordered to kill all of kings Baratheon bastard children (S02E02). Just a few steps away is the dock where Sansa and Shae watch ships, then Sansa talks with Littlefinger (S03E01).
Next step are city walls. I walked the whole wall around the city, the views are amazing but you must know that it gets crowded and in the summer hot as hell. Anyway, from the highest point i took Picture of the whole city as you can see on the left. That is Minčeta tower in series used as House of Undying in Quarth, not King’s landing (S02E10).
Many of the scenes throughout the series were filmed on the walls. Here is example from Fort Bokar, where Varys and Tyrion discussed defense strategies for King’s landing (S02E08). For sure the most iconic scene is Cersei’s walk of atonement through the streets. The walk starts on the steps of The Great Sept of Baelor (Jesuit staircase irl) where I took the photo. And all that left was to took a walk in the old city. Not naked!
